VIA Online¶
VIA Online is a cloud-hosted AI assistant and document search tool for ViciVision technicians and staff. It is built on Danswer, an open-source RAG platform, and deployed on your organization's cloud infrastructure.
Access VIA Online at the URL provided by your administrator.
What it does¶
VIA Online lets you ask questions in plain language and get answers grounded in your organization's uploaded documents — technical manuals, service bulletins, maintenance procedures, and any other PDFs your admin has indexed. It is not a machine monitoring tool; for fleet status and log analysis, see the Analytics Dashboard.
- AI Chat — ask questions, get cited answers drawn from indexed documents
- Document search — semantic full-text search across all indexed PDFs
- Personas — pre-configured AI assistants scoped to specific document sets or topics (configured by admins)
- User management — admin-controlled user accounts and role assignment
- Connectors — admins can index documents from file uploads, Google Drive, Confluence, and other sources
